In 2005 Josh Reid produced a short comedy called The Backup Singer. We've done a bit of a re-edit of this film and it is now available on Sermon Spice. It's well worth a look. A mockumentary style film of an interview with a delusional back up singer in a church. She believes she is called to sing, she believes she is the greatest singer in the world, her mother always told her she could sing - her mother was wrong. A tongue in cheek look at people in the church and church culture.
The Backup Singer has also featured in several short film festivals.
